Chapter Philanthropy and Service

As a part of Zeta Tau Alpha's commitment to both service and breast cancer awareness, education, and survivor recognition, we as a chapter have partnered with 2 wonderful local organizations!

The Hospitality House of Boone is a local shelter dedicated to helping homeless individuals in rural mountain counties in North Carolina. By regularly serving meals at the Hospitality House, the sisters of ZTA help the house accomplish their mission of providing healthy and sustainable transitions for the house's residents.

For more information on the Hospitality House and the work they do in Watauga County, visit http://www.hosphouse.org/

The High Country Breast Cancer Foundation is an all-volunteer organization committed to battling breast cancer on the local level. They put on various events throughout the Boone community, including an annual 5k, that raise awareness and funds awarded through scholarships to women and men fighting breast cancer in Watauga County. Our sisters regularly volunteer at HCBCF events and some of our sisters even serve as members of the organization's board!
