Chapter Philanthropy and Service
As a part of Zeta Tau Alpha's commitment to both service and breast cancer awareness, education, and survivor recognition, we as a chapter have partnered with a wonderful organization called The High Country Breast Cancer Foundation. This is an all-volunteer organization committed to battling breast cancer on the local level. They put on various events throughout the Boone community, including an annual 5k, that raises awareness and funds awarded through scholarships to women and men fighting breast cancer in Watauga County. Our sisters regularly volunteer at HCBCF events and some of our sisters have even served as members of the organization's board!

Being External Philanthropy Chair has opened my eyes to the incredible strength and hope behind our cause. Every event and partnership has shown me the difference that compassion and unity can make in raising awareness for breast cancer. It’s an honor to be part of something that not only supports those affected but also brings our community closer together with every effort.
