Recruitment Information
Each fall, Zeta Tau Alpha proudly participates in Appalachian State University’s Formal Panhellenic Recruitment, one of the most exciting and meaningful times of the year for our chapter. During this week, potential new members have the opportunity to meet women from all nine Panhellenic sororities on campus and experience the vibrant, supportive community that makes Greek Life at App State so special.
Recruitment is organized into four distinct rounds, each offering a unique way to connect with chapter members and learn about what makes every organization exceptional. Through these conversations and events, potential new members get to explore each sorority’s history, values, philanthropy, and sisterhood, discovering where they feel the strongest sense of belonging. It is a week filled with laughter, excitement, and genuine connection—a chance to find not just a sorority, but a home away from home.
For the women of Zeta Tau Alpha, recruitment is a time to open our doors and our hearts to others. We love sharing our story, our philanthropy of Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, and the friendships that define our sisterhood. Every conversation holds the potential to spark lifelong bonds, and each new member brings something unique and special to our chapter’s legacy.
We encourage every woman considering Greek Life at Appalachian State University to take part in this rewarding experience. You may enter recruitment searching for friendship and community—but you’ll leave having found so much more: confidence, purpose, and a sisterhood that lasts far beyond your college years.
We cannot wait to meet you and share all that Zeta Tau Alpha has to offer!
